How did you FEEL when you start walking the aisle on your WEDDING Day?
To everyone who became a bride at their wedding, how did you feel when you start walking the aisle going to your groom where he was waiting for you?
Do you think that they all have the same weird
feeling when a woman gets married on their wedding day?
For me, Yes! you'll be excited, in love, happy, and all that good stuff. But the thing no one ever prepares you for is how downright weird you might feel when the big day finally comes after so much planning, wishing, and stressing. All women who get married on their wedding day feel the same way. However, in reality, you're probably going to feel more or less out of your mind. Here are some of the more common ways you might feel on your wedding day that are totally beyond normal.
- Exhausted
Even if you’ve never had trouble falling asleep, you might find yourself unable to get some shut-eye the night before your wedding.
The opposite of how you want to feel on one of the biggest days of your life.
But don’t worry. You’ll have so much adrenaline pumping by the time the event
starts that you won’t feel sleepy
The combination of excitement and nerves may make you feel
like you’re about to toss your cookies. Of course, this is not ideal when
everyone is probably telling you that you need to eat something or else you’ll
pass out at the altar. Chances are that as soon as you walk down the aisle,
you’ll be just fine.
Being at your own wedding can
feel like you’re in a dream or some kind of an alternate reality. (Like, Whoa,
there’s my college roommate! And my uncle! And my childhood best friend! )
You may even only have a real conversation for a couple minutes before someone
else taps your shoulder or goes in for a hug. Again, supernormal to feel
overwhelmed by this!
In my expertise, for many years I
have been a wedding planner and coordinator with our clients for many weddings were served and we memorized the scenario over and over again from preparation, a ceremony to reception. When I was the bride then, I
expected that I wouldn't be able to experience nauseous especially when the
ceremony is about to start, it's like a mixed emotion that you can't determine.
Actually, I'm laughing to myself why I feel that way because I've known
everything that will happen at the wedding. I'm not an emotional person but I cried, those feelings that you can't
understand, especially you’re reading
your own
vows, you can't stop crying. After saying I do, I feel so loved and
never-ending happy. The experience is honestly surreal. Every feeling you can't control just stay grounded by
taking deep breaths and reminding yourself to be in the moment. But remember that
it’s perfectly okay to feel a bit in awe of everything and everyone around
you—it’s your wedding day, after all, and enjoy!
